Each year, FlightGlobal, incorporating FlightStats, recognizes airlines around the world that demonstrate leadership in operational excellence. To determine the winners, advanced analytics are used to examine flight status arrival and departure data aggregated from global sources including civil aviation authorities, airlines, airports, and major online reservation systems.
- Airline performance is determined based on on-time arrivals (arrived at the gate less than 15 minutes after the published scheduled arrival time)
